Bio
Claire Hughes is a Research Associate III and Project Lead at Design Interactive, Inc. and has ten years of Human Factors Engineering experience focusing on project management, end-user evaluations, and credentialing and contracting analysis. At DI, her knowledge, expertise, and research supports the eXtended Reality (XR) team by planning and conducting human factors end-user evaluations, literature reviews, needs analysis, task analysis, and leading projects. She successfully managed three simultaneous research studies focused on augmented reality and its effects on the human sensory system and continues to manage multiple efforts. Her current work is centered around the design and delivery of XR training technologies across the Department of Defense, with a focus on driving user-centered design for scalable adoption of AR/VR/XR training and job aid solutions. These projects include efforts for the Joint Program Committees, Army Futures Command, and NAWCTSD.
