Ideally, software computation should be instantaneous, but that’s not possible because processing time is an inherent side effect of computation. In time-sensitive situations – such as moving targets in shooting training scenarios – processing time has a negative impact on performance and training outcomes. A primary focus in recent years has been optimization algorithms to address the issue. But the optimization increases computational processing time. What if an optimizer was tunable and trainable, and could be adapted to the parameters of the software environment?
