Dr. Andreas Tolk is Chief Scientist for Complex System Modeling at The MITRE Corporation in Charlottesville, VA, and adjunct professor at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. He holds a PhD and MSc in Computer Science from the University of the Federal Armed Forces of Germany. He is a Certified M&S Professional since 2003. He is a Fellow of the Society for Modeling and Simulation (SCS) and senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). He published 14 books, including the “Profession of Modeling and Simulation.”
