Ms. Manol currently serves as the senior G-8 Comptroller for the Program Executive Office, Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) responsible for providing resource management oversight and strategic guidance for the PEO’s portfolio consisting of more than 30 program offices and valued in excess of $2.8B per annum. Primary responsibilities include direction of the overall budget execution and development process to include cost estimating, spend plan development, year of execution management, program planning, congressional outreach and policy development for over 40 programs and systems providing training modernization and system readiness to the Army, Department of Defense and other federal agencies.
Previous to PEO STRI, Ms. Manol served as the G-8 Budget Officer for the Program Executive Office, Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) supporting financial execution and program management for over 40 program offices, valued in excess of $4B per annum. In 2017 Ms. Manol served as the Acquisition Analyst with the Office of the Secretary of Defense Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics office supporting acquisition policy development and reporting of special interest Military Defense Acquisition Programs.
Ms. Manol has over a decade of experience serving the United States Army as a defense contractor and civil servant, both at the program office level and within headquarters operations. Her experience spans the areas of resource management, program management, cost estimating and acquisition. Ms. Manol holds a Master’s Degree in Program Management form the Naval Post Graduate School, a BS degree in Accounting from George Mason University, certified in Government Financial Management, and has attained Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III certification in Business Cost Estimating and Financial Management.
Ms. Manol is a Certified Defense Financial Manager and her awards include Resource Management in an Acquisition Environment Civilian Award 2014 (American Society of Military Comptrollers), Commander's Award for Superior Civilian Service, and the Achievement Medal for Civilian Service. She was selected as a 2014 Rising Star by Federal Computer Week (FCW); this is an annual award presented to recognize individuals early in their careers who bring amazing energy and innovative ideas into the federal government.
